Tilapia Project
4 Ponds presently 4000 fish each Target harvest starting mid-April – May
Windmill Aerator is improving health
Second Aerator would help maintain ponds
Marketing fish in Canchias: 10 lp/lb (20%)
General Marketing: 15 lp/lb (80% of sales)
Average fish size estimated at 1 lb or higher

Presently no hogs are being processed
Funding for replacement hogs redirected
Dairy Project
Herd Expansion: 17 new fall ’06 purchased (Brown Swiss)
New Milk Processing Equipment being finalized ’07
Training March 2007 Pasteurization, Cheese and Yogurt Production
Presently 60 liters to school Tuesday & Friday* New Bracharia grass doing well. 7 new acres seeding in May. Excited to develop new milk processing building Electrification coming August – September planned
